In this week’s blog we will be discussing regenerative medicine.

At Move Well MD we offer a focused team approach to treating your pain and postural dysfunctions. Our goal is to give the most comprehensive care by combining the best of Western/Eastern medicine and traditional/alternative treatments.  This will allow you to start moving and functioning the way your body was designed and to prevent future problems.

What is regenerative medicine?

Regenerative medicine is the BIGGEST medical breakthrough in natural medicine.

It is commonly known as stem cell therapy.

At Move Well MD we use a patented approach of therapy called amniotic allograft (stem cells, hyaluronic acid, growth factor, and cytokins)

As quoted by the FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D

We’re at the beginning of a paradigm change in medicine with the promise of being able to facilitate regeneration of parts of the human body, where cells and tissues can be engineered to grow healthy, functional organs to replace diseased ones; new genes can be introduced into the body to combat disease; and adult stem cells can generate replacements for cells that are lost to injury or disease. This is no longer the stuff of science fiction. This is the practical promise of modern applications of regenerative medicine,”

Regenerative Medicine is a great alternative to Steroids. Many doctors prescribe steroids to provide temporary relief for inflammation and pain, however steroids can have harmful effects on your body. Over time Cortisone not only degenerates bone density and cartilage but continued use of steroids eventually worsens/speeds up joint degeneration. Regenerative Medicine is steroid free and doesn’t weaken joints or muscles. It requires an injection at the site where the pain is and is safe for unlimited use.

If you've suffered from knee pain, joint pain, or even shoulder pain regenerative medicine might be the answer for you without having to go through major surgery. Surgery can be a scary thing. Not only is it an invasive procedure but there is a long healing process as well as many risks associated with surgeries. Some of those risks could be permanent loss of mobility, higher risks of infection, permanent loss of function, and so much more.

At Move Well MD we inject an amniotic allograft (stem cells, hyaluronic acid, growth factor, and cytokins) to relieve pain by accelerating joint repair, reducing pain, increasing bone density, and reducing the risk of adverse reactions.

No anesthetic is needed!

It reduces muscle compensations and risk of future injuries, and so much more. Imagine being able to increase your functionality, range of motion and even flexibility. With regenerative medicine at Move Well MD this is now possible.
